Crossroads of Art and Neuro: RUBIN MUSEUM of ART: “Brainwave 2012″
The Rubin Museum of Art has an amazing series this year called Brainwave 2012, a variety of lectures and film screenings that invites us (if we dare!) to examine perception, consciousness and memory. Tonight, (although SOLD OUT unless you want to show up 2 hours early with your fingers crossed…) they have invited Sebastian Seung, professor of Computational Neuroscience in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and the Department of Physics at MIT who will be talking about the desire for a total map of the brain! Cool stuff.
The attached trailer is a sneak-peek of one of their upcoming events, a filmscreening of “Just Trial and Error” running from February 15 to 22nd.
