Petition to Repeal U.S. Ban on Syringe Exchange Programs circulates
This December, Congress reinstated a ban on the use of federal funds for Syringe Exchange Programs (SEPS), both domestically and internationally. However, the research has shown time and again that these programs are hugely effective in the prevention of HIV/AIDS among its highest-risk communities.
